HOW YOU CAN HELP
Hey, it’s Chris! If you landed here, you’re likely interested in helping us with our grassroots effort to spread the word about my campaign. Here’s some ways you can help:
1.) VOLUNTEER FOR THE CAMPAIGN: There is a lot of little things that need to be done in a local campaign and I can use all the help I can get. If you are interested in helping, in any way, send us an email to chris4council@chrisgilmartin.com and we will connect with you. WE ARE CANVASING STARTING FEBRUARY 22, 2025, AND WILL BE OUT AT VARIOUS TIMES OVER THE FOLLOWING WEEKS. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN HELPING US CANVAS, REACH OUT TO CHRIS4COUNCIL@CHRISGILMARTIN.COM.
2.) SHARE MY SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS: Social engagement is a great way to spread the word, but interest-based algorithms make content hard to find. However, the more engagement and shares, the more prominent the post appears in feeds and timelines. Follow me on social media and simply sharing a few of Chris’ posts ensures we’re generating the reach needed to win. Helpful tip: Users engage most with posts seen between 1-3pm during the week and all-day Saturdays.
3.) PUT A SIGN IN YOUR YARD: Name recognition ahead of voting day is statistically significant when it comes to winning elections. But with greater limitations on political signs in public spaces, it becomes more important to find supporters willing to place a sign in their yard or window. To get a yard sign delivered, click HERE and fill out our Yard Sign signup form. And be sure to ask your friends and neighbors!
4.)TEXT YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS: Think about the impact you can provide by sending 5 people a text supporting Chris’ campaign. Sending a quick note not only spreads the word but builds trust in Chris’ candidacy from the source they already trust… you! Also, this is a NON-PARTISAN race, so the messaging can be about who you think is best for the community.
